Cornwall Home Improvement and Self Build Show

Tim Chugg demonstrates some of the technology available.

The event hosted a wealth of home related products and services and Intelligent Abodes had a strong presence over the weekend and were delighted with the interest and response to their conversations and demonstrations.

Karen Chugg, Director of Intelligent Abodes said “It was an excellent show, superbly organised and with a great buzz! We talked to hundreds of people, enjoyed our presentation on ‘Future proofing your home for technology’ and met up with lots of like minded businesses and colleagues like David Amos of Amos Lighting, Cathryn Bishop of Cornish Interiors, Luke from Iroka, the team from CSA Architects and Elaine Skinner from Camellia. We must thank Habitech who helped us prepare our stand to show off the superb Vantage Equinox touchscreens to full effect – making the right choices for your technology can be a daunting area for people undergoing a self-build or renovation so it’s a delight to have the opportunity to demonstrate just how user friendly the new technology is and how easy it can be to control your lighting, music and TV settings for example, at the touch of a button – especially if it is planned in right from the start.”

There are several ways that home automation can add to the enjoyment in your home and garden – the possibilities are endless so contact Karen at Intelligent Abodes for more information.
